I have been meaning to start an interiors blog for a long time. Inspired by the greats, such as Stylizimo, Ish and Chi, Mr Bazaar, the DIY Show Off and many many more, I wanted to share my style with you all in the hopes that I'll one day be just as inspiring!
I chose to name my blog 'monochromatic living' because I tend to gravitate towards black, white, grey, wood and leather when picking art, furniture and home decor items. I know that technically that isn't the definition of monochrome, but hey. Artistic license, right?

Beautiful, right?
Although I love the simplicity of shades of black and white and natural materials, I envy those who are so free with colour. My goal with my home is to incorporate some colour, to make it bright, happy and welcoming.
So I turn to this blog for suggestions and opinions and ideas that will broaden my horizons when decorating my home.
Early this week I am going to post my desk DIY!
